Nakameguro
In the previous post, we brought you information about Japan’s most beautiful cherry blossom spots. Among them, Nakameguro is a must-visit destination because its picturesque beauty is created by hundreds of cherry blossom trees blooming along the Meguro River.
The best time to visit here to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom is usually in late March to early April, although the exact timing can vary slightly from year to year, depending on weather conditions.
During this time, the cherry blossom trees along the Meguro River and the canal area in Nakameguro will fully bloom, creating stunning pink scenery. If you have time, you can stay after dark to see the cherry blossom trees in a different light.
How to get there using public transportation?
- Subway: Take the Hibiya Subway Line to Nakameguro Station. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Meguro River and the canal area where the cherry blossoms are located.
- Train: Take the JR Yamanote Line or the Tokyu Toyoko Line to Shibuya Station; then transfer to the Hibiya Subway Line and take it to Nakameguro Station.
- Bus: Several bus routes run through Nakameguro, including the Tokyu Bus and the Toei Bus. Check the route maps and schedules in advance to plan your trip.
