Happy Lunar New Year! Wishing all of you a very happy, healthy, and prosperous year of the Rabbit.
Recently, we visited Yokohama Chinatown, about 160 years old, located in Yokohama, south of Tokyo. It is known as Japan’s largest Chinatown, with countless restaurants and reasonably priced street food. Especially on the Lunar New Year, extremely crowded people gather here to attend the “Lantern Festival” (Late Jan 〜 Early Feb 2023), followed by lion dance and traditional performances.
