Cherry Blossom Festival in Kanto Region, Japan

The Cherry Blossom Festival, also known as Sakura Matsuri, is a significant event in Japan that celebrates the blooming of cherry blossoms or “sakura” trees. The festival is usually held in late March to early May, depending on when the cherry blossoms reach their peak bloom.

During this time, people from all over Japan and worldwide flock to parks, temples, and other scenic areas to admire the beautiful cherry blossoms. Many traditional Japanese customs and cultural activities are also associated with the festival, such as picnicking under the trees, playing music, and enjoying traditional Japanese foods and drinks.
